Bartlett Plastering was formed in 1981 by Gary Bartlett. Initially Gary started out as plasterer’s labourer but he soon wanted to learn more and was taught the skills of plastering by a highly respected plasterer, Barrie Mitchell.
Once Gary had learnt the trade his own high standards and attention to detail made him a much sought after plasterer. At this stage the company started to grow to where it has ended up now with around 50 plasterers working in the company.
We are now members of the Guild of Master craftsmen and the Federation of Small Businesses and have achieved the prestigious Investors in People Award.
We take on all aspects of plastering which include:
Metal frame partitions, demountable partitions and suspended ceilings.
All forms of floor screeds, Granolithic, polymer screeds and fiber screeds.
External rendering systems including through colored renders.
Internal plastering and coving and cornices.
Recent work contracts have been Wyvern School, Poole Old Town First School, Milldown Primary School, Chickerell Primary School, Nursing Homes, Dorchester Fire Station, Marshes End Fire Station, Poole Police and Fire Headquarters, Salisbury Law Courts, Salisbury District Council Offices, Blocks of Flats and Housing estates as well as domestic work too.
We also have our own workshop where we make our own fibrous plaster moldings which include cornices, arches, corbels and dados which we sell to both the trade and the public.
